Take A Walk Through Time
VISIT AND EXPLORE OUR HISTORY
The Trego County Historical Society Museum includes many different displays from our history dating back to the mid 1800s. Our collections include vintage clothing, medical, farming on the prairie, military, household goods, and local community histories. On our grounds we also have an original one-room schoolhouse, Pleasant Valley, that was relocated in 1997. We have recently added a new addition to the museum which features a large mural, painted by local artists, of past Trego County life.

About Us
FOUNDING AND BUILDINGS
The Trego County Historical Society was founded in 1969 with the first building being dedicated in 1975. The Pleasant Valley Schoolhouse was relocated onsite in 1997. The groundwork for the new addition began in 2014 and the first event was held there in 2105 without electricity. We are currently working towards completion of our new Agriculture building. Donations are greatly appreciated to help fund this project.
